Ha ha, wow, it's been about a year since I last used this journal. Yup, didn't forget about my DA account just because I got a Tumblr.  I still uploaded a few things to here, but I try not to throw up every stupid thing since I pretend someday I'll be an actual good artist who will have people waiting with fresh ink cartridges and glossy paper for my next post.  College grads aren't too old for daydreams. So I just uploaded four things all at once, three pony requests and one Homestuck piece.  Working on another pony and another Homestuck piece, which I'm thinking will actually be a comic?  I dunno, can't decide.  Which is why I made that V

I am A Homestuck.  Art to follow.  I'm currently creating a Vriska desktop background as my first piece of fanart.  Also, I've upgraded to GIMP 2.8.2, so expect to see some experimentation away from the "rendering" style on the Discord piece and the quick-n-dirty sketches seen up till now.  I'm a fan of clean, graphic imagery against dirty backgrounds.  This will show in the next piece.  I know it's not going to be my piece de resistance, since I should have made the image twice the resolution and then compressed it, but I failed.  I made it at 100% my native resolution.  I can see what I can do about multiple versions, but I tend to not wind

Hey, so I'm guessing a lot of everyone who's one this page is either here through Facebook or My Little Pony.  I was doing the Equestria Daily Newbie Artist Training Grounds II to acclimate myself to my new laptop until college kicked back in.  Just because I'm done with that doesn't mean I'm not drawing still, though, so MOAR PONIES TO COME!
